Proudly serving Athens-Clarke County since 2006

Every weekday during the academic year, UGA students provide individual tutoring and mentoring for local students. By providing homework help and extended learning activities, sponsored by the University of Georgia Honors Program, Thomas Lay works to create an atmosphere that encourages enthusiastic learning and play as well as fosters genuine relationships.

We are currently taking applications for mid-semester head mentors! Open to anyone having actively gone to mentor 3 times this semester. Applications will be due February 26! d/e/1FAIpQLSeMkA2hBU583d2A 0zN12Zwr2aQdy208D4IBA2o5n IxyfjZgZA/viewform?usp=sf_link
We are welcoming back walk-in mentors this semester! We ask that you have been abiding by social distancing guidelines as well as wear your mask properly while volunteering with us. Thank you for helping us to keep this program going during the hard times we are in!
We would love to restart our Middle School program as well but we need the support of walk-in volunteers to help us! Shorter and later commitment for those who may not be able to come to our Elementary School program or for those who would like to work with older students.
Our start date this semester is Tuesday, January 19th and we will run until Friday, April 30th, taking off days aligning with the UGA calendar
